I presume you have a car to take hubby to the hospital for the chemo treatments. That's half the battle. Making him comfortable on his return would be the first issue, I don't see a problem in where you are living at the time.

I stayed at sons in Hervey Bay while daughter in law's mum was going through chemo. Jaz had to drive her home to Gladstone for 3 days every week for the chemo treatment. Then after that down to Brisbane for the radiation. It's been a very harrowing experience for them all and mum is slowly getting worse, not sure if she will make Xmas.
We all pitched in to help. Son takes over the kids and household duties to allow Jaz to get the medical treatment for her mum. They are in the throws of arranging to transfer all her help to Hervey Bay. Will take some of the stress away in these final days.
I stayed with mum while they had outings, 4 little kids can be a handful. They needed family time. I also would do all the laundry while there.
Just make sure you get yourself some ME time Rocket and all the best for hubby.

Note for those living in Perth and insured with HBF: My wife had Ovarian cancer and there is a truly excellent service called Chemo@home - the name says it all and the service is really wonderful by a team of dedicated nurses. It's available for many, but not all, types of cancer. Not sure how widespread this type of service is, but surely available in other States?

Yes they can do it in a caravan as long as there is space to set up the drip equipment.
It's much, much, quicker than attending the cancer clinic and you have your own dedicated nurse for the duration of the treatment.

Good luck,
John K
