Truma Hot Water System

In my Coromal pop top I have a Truma LPG/240v HWS, which I am told by the Coromal agent that sold me the van does not have a sacrificial anode like other HWSs. My question is do I have to drain the tank when the van is sitting around for a few months?

We have the same unit, have never drained it.

The manual only recommends draining in area's of frost (if there is a chance of the contents freezing)

Have found it to be an excellent heater.smile

We have not drained our Truma for 11 years. It has a stainless steel tank, so does not need an anode.

Cheers,
Peter
