EDS - Engine Data Scan Promo - Caravan on tour Magazine

FYI

The above mag is offering a free EDS with another product, with a 10 copy subscription, be aware that they do not ask "what vehicle do you have" and in some instances it will not operate e.g. Izuzu MUX, so before you order the subscription, check the Berrima Diesel website to confirm your vehicle is OK.

It is intertesting the ad shows a MUX with caravan, so the assumption is that it is OK for the MUX.

Misleading advertising ??????

Plenty of people I've seen here in Hervey Bay towing a caravan with a Mux

Hi Migra. One thing is for sure - theres no point in contacting this magazine asking for further info or pointing out their carelessness.

Ive subscribed to this mag for the past 3 years and it is due to expire mid-next year. About 14 mnths ago I emailed them with an article that was entirely in conflict with the vehicles manufacturers specs (like WDH and Isuzu Mux). Never got a reply back from them. How many other of their articles give bad advice??

You also wonder what quality the EDS is being a freebie for taking a 10 month mag subscription.............

May as well continue on here - (Hello Bruce & Bev - do you remember us from Burra and the sillage pipes matter?) as we too are VERY concerned with some of the advice (some which is Provably illegal from Aust Road Rules) which has been written in the said Mag and we have tried now for two years plus to mail them, contact them but to no avail. We shall also be letting our subs die when due to be renewed.

Some articles have blatant errors in them regards features, one which comes to mind was that a town in Victoria was at the mouth of the Murray! Basic primary school Geography errors here and we wonder at what antics the Editors are coming at?

I went with this deal for my ford ranger and it does give a lot of info as to how the vehicle is going, but it does not have the transmission temp that I really wanted
Goes alright and I did contact Berrima about the gauge and got a reply very quickly
If you go with it specify which mag you want as I got the 4x4 mag, but quickly fixed that up with a phone call
