Airlie Beach - hotel/hostel

Hello - I'll be visiting Airlie Beach for a few days from 14 December.  I've heard it's a great place for young backpackers and as a grey and solo traveller I wonder whether anyone could recommend a hotel/hostel where I won't feel out of place.  Thanks . . .

Welcome from us Clare

lots of info in here if you do a search. Ask a question if you cannot find an answer by searching. Lots of helpful people in here only too willing to assist.

The polo shirts in the shop are really good quality, look great and are very comfortable too.

enjoy the playground we call Australia.

Thanks for the friendly replies! Can't wait to start traveling! I'm not a young backpacker, though, and am hoping to find somewhere in Airlie Beach suitable for a grey 62-yr-old travelling on my own. Any ideas?

Yes there are seniors b type backpackers in Airlie Beach just go to Tourist Information when you get there , Not a busy season so should pick up something no trouble , I did google it so you could do the same .
