WOW, after 30 years of metal detecting all around the WA Goldfields, Cue, Leonora and Willuna and everywhere in between, and never a problem I have to wonder, what went wrong here. 99% of my detecting time, I was on my own and enjoyed every fabulous moment, even 2 days without a sniff, the anxiety of a smidgen in the next step or 2 was enough to keep me shuffling along. I found about 90 ounces over that time, not enormous and the biggest was 5.5 Ozs, but an incredibly enjoyable way to pass the time of day.
YEP, if you are reasonable fit, and in fair condition, give it a go.
Simmo.
OK, without a sniff means no luck, not what some people might think.

like all murders, its sad, but they showed pics of the couple (his body found so far) and they looked such happy and very friendly people who wouldn't harm a fly.
Sadly, her body will no doubt be found down another disused mine shaft

Hes WA based. In the WA daily paper today, along with a pic of him, denying killing them and saying he had been teaching them about gold prospecting and when he last saw them, they were fine and well. Police have searched his place twice now and saying the ground search for the missing woman will be the largest ever carried out in WA.
Today the weather is very hot out in the rural areas and the searchers will be having a had time in the heat. Temps reached 32c today away from the coast and the Freo Doctor
