Problem with bees

Hi all,  I have a problem with bees at home.  Unfortunately they are not on our property they are up against the fence next door.  We have approached the neighbours nicely but got no where so I have been to the council offices and they will not ask him to move the hives (2 of them) as the fence is correct for him to keep these little critters. Now, the problem is when they swarm they come into the court yard and we cannot use our out door area for fear of being stung.  Our grandchildren will not go outside and who could blame them.  Does anyone have any ideas how to keep these bees away.  I know that bees have a flight path but not when they swarm they just go everywhere.

I will appreciate any help/advice

I'm guessing that once on your property they become 'your' property, so you can do whatever you like with them.....you can simply suck them up with a vacuum cleaner - go for the queen first so that confuses the drones - when they're all in the bag take it down the road and release them - they will be OK as that is a method we use with Australian native stingless bees and they survive OK.
If you know another beekeeper they would be more than happy to receive the bee bag from you.
Good Luck.

Thanks Hako for that advice,  but a little difficult to go out side when they are up and about.  Will appreciate any more suggestions.

Sounds like it's time for some good old fashion BBQ's using some very green wood to create lot's of smoke, best to have the BBQ when the wind is blowing in the direction of the hive.
