Towing with a Ford Ranger PX series 11


Hi,, when towing with my duel cab ute, do i turn the stability control off when using stabilizer bars on my van.. Tandem van weighs 2800.. Thanks

Firstly welcome to the forum Old Ab ..

I understand what might prompt you to ask the question. However, if you think about it a bit, it is logical to leave the vehicle DSC activated as normal.

It is designed to enhance the vehicle's dynamic stability and, even with stability aids on the van, the vehicle's dynamic stability is critical to safe travelling.

You don't mention which of the dual cab utes you have [edit: cry I just noticed the heading of the thread - sorry] ... but I would certainly advise that I would just hook the van on, set up the towing aids for the van, and leave the DSC on the (Ranger)  ute turned on.
