Thanks

Hi Sandra

In regards to the Lotus it would be better for you to go to the

Lotus Owners forum.

Also if you go to Caravaners forum - Dedicated Owners Group - Lotus

I looked at the Trooper and had my heart set on one (21'6" ) but the attention to detail was not there with many concerns over this being raised on forums. It appears that one NSW dealer is a problem while other dealers really do go out of their way to overcome any short comings. Some owners report having good help from the manufacturer when dealing direct.

My concerns were there were problems ( silly ones mostly ) recurring from van to van.

I spent and extra $10 000 and got a perfect van with NO faults ( and this was not luck - they just do it right )

I got my van 3 weeks ago and have done 4000 alms already.

Regards

Neil

Welcome to the gang Sandra, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I think you will find the Lotus is a up there with some other good vans but My Chief just had what I wanted.

That said, like most new vans you will have teething problems.

Keep Safe out there.

Last time I was in Bourke a Lotus exploded after a gas leak from the allegedly incorrect stove installation.

there have apparently been 2 of these happen. reports are well documented in media such as caravanningnews.com.au

I would ask if they have rectified that issue.

My son bought a lotus from the caravan yard just south of Nambour on the old highway. There were some teething problems but they were quickly fixed and he was very pleased with their after sale service. Seemed like a good van.
