G'day banjo sure hope it does pass over you, Kalgoorlie can be a bad place to be in a storm, don't dare drive off the tar what ever you do.
I was working up that way some years back, operating a back hoe, a truckie came into camp asking for help, he had gone to sleep on the side of the road, it rained while he was out to it and when he woke his truck ( carting a load of steel ) had sunk to the axles.
I drove the Back Hoe about 10k out to where he was bogged and tried to dig him out, we ended up with three semi's chained together with me on the machine pushing on the rear, well we managed to straighten all the chains out so they would never bend again, but that semi never moved an inch, it had to be left there for weeks until the ground had dried out enough to be moved.
take care out there !!!
