Hi all, Fitting Hot water shower unit to outside of van

I was wondering if any of you have fitted a hot water shower unit to the outside of your van, we are going around the country next year in our pop top, this doesn't have a shower inside but have looked on line and you can buy units for $300.00 ish fitted outside you only have to have a portable pop up cover to stand in. As anyone seen or have one of these.

Mate their are heaps of configurations available on the net If you get a mains pressure unit make sure it comes with a suitable 12 volt pump with filter for dry water . If you are using 240 power and mains pressure water supply then Bunnings have a unit for around $200 - 300

been tossing coins in the air myself.... was wondering about the GSWH-1m (Guirrand??) from AwardRV / Australian RV that I saw this weekend at the Melb CV show.   but I then found these two on Fleabay..

the idea of saving $300 and not knocking holes in the van are  appealing....with same outcome.  Just dont know about the quality of the units.  the GSWH has got a few ticks on here and are apparently a big deal in the Untied States.. $_57.JPGCaravan-Instant-LP-Gas-Hot-Water-System-Camper-Trailer-Boat-Instantaneous

Keep us informed

Just a word of caution, if the hws units you are considering are gas fueled then make sure they are approved for use in Australia and the connection to your gas supply if hard connected has to be done by a licensed gas-fitter with a Certificate of Compliance issued to the end user. Happy hunting, Red72.
