We're driving north from Sydney's eastern suburbs - which is the best way? 

Pacific highway at Artarmon, or lane cove tunnel/M2/pennant hills or M5/M7?

From East Sydney areas through Harbour Tunnel straight up Pacific Highway if you are travelling outside of peak commute hours. Shorter, quicker and cheaper.
