Shut the front gate!

Would you believe that it's exactly 12 months today 6/10 that I became a full time Grey Nomad ?  TRUE.

This day 12 months ago I left Wonthaggi, south west Gippsland VIC for the life dreams are made of.  

I have met many great people from this great forum and others not from this great forum. I have been and stayed in places that if you asked me 4 years ago,  I would have laughed at you and said no, no way, not me BUT here I am out in the playground.  I might say as well even that I have never looked back and have enjoyed every minute out here in the playground.

I started out in my beloved Avan and now have a full caravan with ensuite, wow, how spoilt am I!   The van still has a birthday to come in the near future. 

Oh!....and I tell you that for free. 

Keep Safe out there.

Congrats Doug - that year has gone fast although I remember at that time thinking 'damn, I've still got a year and a bit to go before joining the playground'. That 'year' part has now gone and last week I hit the official retirement age, so it's just the 'bit' left to go before I jump the fence into the playground full time after spending Christmas with family in Brisbane. Hope you have many more years of nomading and continued contributions to this forum.
