Lattitude not attitude

Tis good if you live in the Southern states cause the daylight hours vary dramatically from summer to winter but as one goes north it does not vary as much

hence the angst against daylight saving it all depends on your Lattitude not attitude

I'll go along with that mate.
When it was trialed in Qld we had the kids leaving school in the hottest part of the day and try getting them to go to sleep when the sun is still up.

I was still working when it was trialed in Qld.

I loved it.

My practice was to get up with the sun & go to work while all the household was sleeping. No freeway traffic either.

I'd leave work for home by the clock at 5pm before the evening freeway traffic built up.

Been doing that for years.

With daylight saving, I had that extra afternoon time at home with the kids in the pool & an evening BBQ.

The truth of the matter is that in Queensland there should be 2 time zones. What people do not realise is that places like Mt Isa are on the same line as Adelaide this really puts them 1/2 an hour sunwise as the Eastern half of Queensland.
