Companion Fridge

Just got a BCF catalogue. Good deal on the Companion 65L dual zone fridge. Anyone got a Companion/Primus/Xero? It's on page 7 of the catalogue but I cannot seem to put a link direct to that page.

They look pretty good, and you can use both sections as a fridge, or one section as a freezer and the other as a fridge. They have a low battery cut out, they say is to protect your battery, but it cuts out at 10.5 volts so is useless as a battery saver.
The bit I like is this:

Quote

This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
End Quote.

That would tend to exclude their sales to a substantial percentage of the population

Hi, I've had a Companion 65 Litre Fridge for nearly 7 years now, I changed the hopeless Cigarette plug to Anderson plugs & replaced the digital readout just last year. I use it for a freezer as mine only has the small compartment above the motor that I use for the fridge. It has run nearly 24/7 for the past 4 years & with the new programmable digital thermostat I have it set for -13 to -18. I would buy another one but mine was nearly $300 cheaper than that.

Oops, mines 55 not 65

Is this the one and is it the same price as in their cattledog?

That's the fridge. It's not the one I was thinking of from the Companion catalogue. It's a XERO made for BCF. And it's way too tall to fit in my ute with the tonneau on. Back to base. The one that has my attention now is an Engel MT45FCP COMBI but trying to get a user manual on-line or some details out of Engel is proving to be difficult. The user instructions that come with the unit are not very clear and it looks like I need to buy wireless digital thermometer as well.
