BOAT LOADER OVER THE CAB AND BONNET???

Not sure of the rules, but can see problems with rack attached to the bull bar.
Check out getting rid of the tub and having a custom aluminium box built with roof rack on top. I have one on my Dmax trayback.

Is that the whole story Kim or did they actually say that their racks are not rated to carry the weight of your boat? If they said outright that they did not fit racks/bars then go to this page and scroll down. You will see the two BT50 canopies with racks on them. There are arrows (<>) under the pictures, if you click on the ones under the Ascent canopy, you will see how they strengthen them to take the roof load. I think your local mob are having a lend of you. If you go to this page you will see the following text under the heading "ARB Canopy Roof Racks and Bars"

Hi Hendo. Yes we have checked that out and because we already have tub and canopy would lose a fair bit as I feel it would be difficult to sell both tub and canopy and have already gone to the expense of the Black Widow drawer system. This is all in hind sight (should have thought it out earlier). We are not the brightest stars in the sky.
And Peter yes we already have the strengthened canopy and aware we can have a roof rack, but forgot to mention that they won't add a boat loader. Sorry forgot to add that. Getting alzhiemers.

Depending on the size of your boat you may not need a boat loader. I have a 12' tinnie that I winch on via a boat winch that I fit to the bulbar, foldup trailer goes in the back of the canopy. Now if I could just catch fish ide be set.

Its a bad move to have racks spreading load over any inderpendant componets of a vehicle.

The load needs to be either on the canopy OR the cab roof. Reason for this is that the tub, the cab & the chassis all move in different directions to each other. ,as the chassis flexis under load; the end result is that by connecting them together creates stress points & results in breakage of mounts & components , seen this many times. Some companies have internal supports for mounting a rack on a canopy.

when arb fit roof racks they are not supported by the canopy there is a metal frame inside the canopy attached to the tub an the load is supported by that framework to the tub

as mentioned previous post flexing could be a big problem if you wish to support load from cab/tub to the bulbar
