Really;;;VAN DRAGGERS;;is that the pot calling the kettle black?

Maybe we need to go to spec savers just to be sure; because every day we see those match box m/homes trying to drag a car behind them , so what do you call your selves?

I just put it down to another mistake;you bought a m/home only to find that you can't set up a camp & then go some where because you have no wheels unless you pack up the lot & take it with you.disbeliefno   So to fix the problem you throw more good money after bad & buy a car to drag behind you, then there is the expense of a A-frame, braking system & lights;  only to find thats not quite right so you waste more good money & but a trailer, more to load for the match box to drag.

Now we have two motor vehicles to service, register & maintain plus a trailer to service & rego. Not to mention the three parking bays you now need when you eventualy get there.

Logic, there is none. Just draggers of a differeent kind.smilesmile

Yep, that's me; currently dragging a van through North Queensland.

I simply wonder at the sense of those people who pre-judge a person on the basis of what sort of RV they are currently using.   As if the RV currently being used has some effect on the personality of that person.    Will these prejudiced people change their behaviour towards me depending on whether I am in my MH or my Van?   We do see this kind of poor logic in the larger society when skin colour or ethnic background, or even political views, are in view.

So how do I make sense of this experience?  Pulled into a free camp the other night and was told, quite forcefully, not to park up there because two of his mates were arriving soon and would want to park there.    I ignored the fool and even disconnected from the van and parked the ute between us.   Should I now have some general animosity towards anyone towing a van, or just people who tow XXX brand vans, or just get on with enjoying the travelling around?

(PS His alleged mates never turned up, probably trying to ditch him.)
