Fire Weather Warning
for the West Kimberley Coast and Kimberley Inland fire weather districts.

Issued at 2:57 pm WST on Wednesday 23 September 2015.

Weather Situation
A strong ridge of high pressure over central parts of the State will produce
fresh, dry and gusty easterly winds over the Kimberley on Thursday.

For Thursday 24 September:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
West Kimberley Coast and Kimberley Inland

If you are in a SEVERE or EXTREME Fire Danger area:
- The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) advises if a fire starts
and takes hold it will be unpredictable, move very fast and be difficult for
firefighters to bring under control.
