JRH (John) my Mate and Friend and Friend to many others here has passed away.   I have just been informed by his Wife Irona.

RIP John, your suffering is over.

Condolences to Irona and Family.

A true Ozzie of Welsh birth and a gentle giant at 6'3", he will be sadly missed.   Some of his childhood spent in Rhodesia.

(John died of Liver Cancer)

Really sorry to hear John has passed on......I didn't know him, but he IS (still, to the many who do know him) a member of the Forum.

I just hope his last few weeks weren't painful.......

Sad news.  My deep condolences to John’s family at this difficult time.  JRH is one of this forum’s longest serving members and his contribution over the years has been immense.  Although I never met him I have always had enormous respect for John as a man of great honour and integrity.  Quite simply, this forum will not be the same without him.
