Where to buy caravan stuff

Today my wife and I strolled through Ray's Outdoors and BCF to see what caravan related products were on offer. Sadly there wasn't that much. So, I'd like to here from the knowledgable ones where are the good walk in stores particularly around Melbourne and eastern suburbs where we can look at caravan related stuff Thanks

Let google pay the taxi fare. Most caravan dealers who sell accessories are very expensive. The place I find very good are in Canberra

Hi  Neil and Raine,

Spydermann has it right. I used to visit their old store and when they moved to larger premises on the Burwood Highway I  was expecting prices to rise. Nope same prices and in fact some were lower.

Very good service great range and they even have a workshop out the back.

Recently my Motor Home water pump gave it away. Well after finding out that my pump A Shurflo had been purchased in the USA and was not imported here. I couldn't source the repair kit here. Brand new was the option. Award RV had a very similar model for $119. Shurflo with the same PSI etc. Plug and play....same electrical connections and same water connections.

I had checked everywhere and until I thought to Check Award RV the cheapest I could find was $239. Fleabay ,Gumtree everywhere including agricultural suppliers.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone. Especially if you are in range of their store. I did my purchase from here in Qld online and the delivery was quick ,three days to rural Qld.

Quite a long way from Melbourne - But the best place I've come across in the last 3 years on the road is in Cairns Qld, called Geo. Pickers www.pickers.com.au/ .
Incredible range of camping gear, caravan accessories/gadgets and military disposal clothing - it reminds me of the old Kings Disposals Stores 30/40 years ago.
The guys behind the counter seemed knowledgeable and were very friendly to boot.

Plus I forgot the reason I found it in the first place; a reasonable supply of 4WD parts and accessories.

Thanks Spydermann! That's exactly what we're looking for. And not too far from No. 1 daughter's place, either.

Thanks again folks.

We'll check out Carmac and Van Cruise too. The latter is not far from my daughters place in Narre Warren Sth. So when we visit it won't be a big deal to nip over to Carrum Downs.

Carac is the closest of the lot to you there Martin. In Frankston Dandenong Road just before or after Greens Road for memory.
