We would like to travel back from Carvarvon gorge via another route to Brisbane ie not via Dalby, Roma and the Warrego Highway. We are looking at staying somewhere along the coast but not 1770 or Agnes water. Can anyone recommend a good route and worthwhile things to see along the way as well as a good seaside spot? We have three young teenagers.
look at north to Rolleston east to moura/calliope/ then south on Bruce highway then you have the Fraser coast,sunshine coast hervey bay plenty to chose from.
