We should have more of that, years ago an Army Reserve band used to play popular music etc to Central Perth Crowds (5th Military District Band) but the government disbanded them more's the pity.

Our local Stirling Council though get a Naval Reserve Band and Singer in once a year in one of our local parks, nice afternoon under the trees and all free.   Gold Coin donation to a local charity for those who want to donate (most do).
