We are looking for a caravan park with a beach view somewhere up in the Coloundra region that is dog friendly, we have two small ones. We have stayed at Onslo St park, but that is small & boxed in with no view. We have stayed at Military beach park, but they are now putting more units in which puts the nomads way down the back out of sight. It is a great park for location, but not for nomads. We normally stay two weeks but we would rather a place where there is a view of some sort, rather than just a row of vans all around. We'll be leaving Adelaide for Qld on Friday.

We have stayed at Coolum Beach just up the road a bit and it is well placed on the beach and very near to shops and eateries etc. Not the cheapest of parks but probably on a par with Caloundra. Keith
There is a very good park right on the beach at Mooloolaba. Every time I drive past it is pretty full and I am sure you would have to book. do not even attempt to go there during school Hols.
This is the one I was thinking of. There is actually 2 there, one right on the beach and the other back beside the surf club off of Parkyn Parade. They may even be linked.
Because I live here I have not looked at them closely. But I do know that everyone complains about how expensive they are.............but then right on the beach!!!

There are 6 Sunshine Coast Holiday Parks. Mooloolaba is not one of their parks that accept pets. The two that do are Mudjimba and Coolum.
Here is a map of parks for the area. The green pins are your parks. Zoom in and click on them for more info, the links take you to Badgers reports that are submitted by people like us. When you use one of the parks I suggest you submit your report if one has not been submitted in the past few months.

The best beachfront park up here id the Cotton Tree Caravan Park. There are 2 so make sure you get the waterfront one. One of if not the best in Q. Council owned and managed by good people.
Baz and Eve. Cotton Tree does not allow pets. Unless there has been a change. I live in Caloundra and Military Jetty is the only one I know of that allows pets. Dicky Beach cara pk is a corker. Right on the beach but not dog friendly. Coolum beach allows but has a ton of restrictions. Mudjimba Beach is great and allows dogs. It does not have beach views but they haveclean sites with double concrete pads, a good pool and some good coffee shops nearbys. Across the road from the beach which is dog friendly. Enjoy your visit.
