Seeing a call here from a solo reguarding the Norseman to Ceduna crossing I replied, received details but no planned meeting, just watch out for each other.
The first night's camp out from Norseman Franniemac arrived with Ethanol following, two solo's. Had a great arvo & stayed the following day for some catchup.
All moved on the next day again arriving at another camp together, then along comes another traveller that I had seen a couple of days before & came from NSW as well, a couple of hrs from us so they joined the party. another couple of days there as well.
Long story short, we all travelled across together, had lots of laughs & fun, even though the wind across the plain was the coldest & strongest that I have ever experienced; felt sorry for the west bound traffic heading straight into it.
Thanks again to Frann, Mike, & (John, Margaret;) non GN members for sharing your friendship & experiences.

Yes , thanks Jim & Leonie for a great time together, one of the best trips I've had for a while, my first night alone & it's sort of strange & not seeing all your happy faces. Yes, it was funny to meet people from our own area as if no one else was allowed to join us especially John & Margaret from Lismore where I grew up & also the couple from Grafton a while back that owned the Halfway Creek Truck Stop between Grafton & Coffs Harbour that I frequented many times in my truckin days. & we must not forget Fran for her lovely friendship also, we shall meet again.
