Because a motor home is so quick to set up, frequent moves are not a problem. I Know because I have been there, no I am there.
Maybe you should have got a tent or a caravan with a full annex.
If you solve the problem, let me know.

Tell her that a couple of your mates want to go fishing with you up north for 3 months...one way or another, the problem will be solved! biggrin

Let the tyres down maybe biggrin

I wouldn't worry too much as usually when I am moving around I am on a mission so no rose smelling here either, YET. Might come one day and I am out here full time.

Everyone has their own way of doing things. I for one can't seem to get the planning thing out of my system. I have spent all my working life planning and co-ordinating so still find myself planning my days while on the move. When camped up I take each day as it comes mostly though, so half way there I spose.

I am leaving here in Townsville next week and have every day's location planned until mid October. Some will say I'm crazy, stop and smell those roses but I already know I'm crazy so all good. Actually it is taking me 2 weeks to get to VIC so that is slow for me.

Keep Safe out there.

Friends of ours bought a new Nissan Patrol & good sized Jayco van. It's been on one trip & has been sitting idle for over two years since. The female half hates caravaning & loves resort style luxury accommodation. She loves her part-time job but doesn't have to work, he's retired. They're selling the van soon.
If one half doesn't like the lifestyle there's nothing that can be done to change it.

Hi, I know the feeling, bought a brand new Van last year, husband not interested after we've had 2 short trips, have put Van up for sale on this website & caravan sales. You can't change these ones that like the 5 star resort style holidays ?? I am very disappointed was sooooo looking forward to traveling this beautiful country, if I could I would hook up & go myself. no Looks like I will continue to read caravan mags, to enjoy everyone else's adventure.

Hi KJ,

That is a very sad post from you. I would hate it if my other half wasn't like minded.

Why don't you buy a campervan instead and go yourself? I am thinking he expects you to attend his holiday ideals. Leave him at home if he wont go...or drop him off at the nearest resort and pick him up in 12 months.....

Cheers AL

Thanks Al, that's a great idea, I reckon I could go for something like that, I am a woman who works in the road construction industry so I think I would manage a camperVan by myself quite well. The further I am out in the bush the happier I am, if & when someone does buy my Caravan they will be very lucky, as I mentioned in previous post, it's almost brand new.

everyone have a safe day out there on the road, thank god it's Friday

KJ
