Taking time out flew to Munich via Aba Dhubi, the first leg was nothing to talk about, a long 14 hours though the night leaving Brisbane at 9.30pm est arriving at there time 5.30am just after sun up, a full plane load, hostess ran of their feet, ask for water you would get it 30 min later, queing for the toilets.
But the second shorter leg after a 3 hour break and plane not loaded up and with lots of spare seats was great, a 6 hour flight over the deserts in daylight, the first hour was ordinary looking out the window thinking it was just a grey desert more like a ocean then settle into my music. As we got into the second or third hour and possibly coming up to mid day the desert started to have character I found my self totally glued to the port hole, the erosion marks, a railway line, Dead Sea, Red Sea, Cairo right up the Greek coast, Bosina then as we neared the Austrian Alps we flew into clouds and above them openining up coming over Germany, what a great flight, one of our best.
Hope you enjoy. Ralph.
