Hi Karen. I only spin when Ive had more than two bottles of red LOL.
Seriously though, on a recent ABC TV Landline programme, the Country Womans Association is pushing home spinning of wool.
There are also many town and city hobby groups now into spinning and they use of products direct off the farm and turning it into a finished item in the home - like wool to spinning to knitting etc.
Wool spinning is now become popular with clubs (dare I say womans clubs) who also garden, paint, craft and all sorts of stuff )
Have you tried googling the topic? You may have to try a few different phrases - Like "home spinners" or "spinners clubs" or "wool spinners clubs.

My neice breeds Alpacas in the Yarra Gen area and wanted the same as you, to learn to spin, wash and dye all her own wool, she contacted her local breeders assoc and they put here in touch with a group that together, have all the expertise and are willing to share, perhaps you could check out similar groups in the Grampians, perhaps the CWA or similar.
