Recommendations for Port Macquarie for two nights powered & without power.

Hi we are new to caravaning & this is our 1st trip away for a week. We have WikiCamps  which is very helpful but would like your recommendations for Port Macquarie as many caravan parks appear very similar reviews. We would like somewhere on/near the water, powered site @ budget price with clean amenities. Thank you.

Jordans Holiday Park is small, on the river, away from the hustle bustle, dog friendly.

Breakwall Tourist Park is huge, in town.

You,d have to ring for prices, They would be caravan park rates, might be cheaper through the week.

Nice part of the world.

Cheers Pete

The Breakwall looks very nice from a near by lookout, looking down into it. Big sites down the back near water and grassed. Right in town as said. I would aim at that if needing a CVP there.

Have stayed at the Breakwall and Jordans and would now choose Jordans every time.
Jordans is only a short walk to the Panthers Club and includes a large shopping centre

Better still, here is the route.

I prefer Jordan's as well. There is no fence between the ferals walking out along the breakwater and the other park.

It is a few years since we used Blackmans Caravan Park. It did have mostly permanent weekenders but were very friendly about 20 minutes out of Port on the river towards Telegraph Point.

It was a cheapy but reasonable. Ralph.

I'll second Jordans :), VERY Friendly even if it may be a tad smaller with grass sites but clean and as previousely mentioned right on the river with short walk to their pontoon jetty which will give you good fish if you like Fishing:)..Breakwall park is BIG , good sized sites both slab and grass , sheltered but think site is a tad tired and needs a wee bit of TLC but close to the shops and merchandise for Women to browse.
Stayed a week at Jordans and even though it was a tad wet we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Thanks for that Peter. I was in that area a few months back for 4 days but never saw that park. Looks and sounds nice too.
