Re Retirement? My thoughts are that if one is enjoying what you're doing and are healthy ... zero health problems. Then work until the enjoyment ceases.
i retired at 68 and only then only after a change in management top end .... the new candidate had many practices that I wasn't comfortable with ... my "boss" with whom I had a great working relationship moved on, so guess I was taken out of my "comfort zone" after 5 years at the same place.
so, after some 52 years in the workforce I felt it was time .... chatted with "she who must be obeyed" and we agreed that maybe it was time to slow down and do our own thing.
Two years in I often wonder if I pulled the pin too early as I sometimes miss the "regimentation" of the office and the social atmosphere ..... But then I look at what we have got .... Freedom .....

Just a tad, it's probably the weather here at home. Still trying to get away ..... had a small health scare last month ... Why is it that blood pressure problems begin after you retire ??? Fifty two years in the workforce ... No problems (not even a sniffle) then I retire. .??
