Yes, I just read this on the news. A man and two young children, must have been staying in someone's backyard as set the house alight as well. A very sad situation.

It could be a timely warning to check, check and check again one gas system in the van.

I haven't see anything that says these explosions were due to DIY jobs. If anything possibly 2 can be attributed to manufactures.

However, police interviewed on Ch9 news tonight stated they are fearful it may have been a murder suicide cry Father and two children were in the van in front yard and mother was sleeping inside the house.

Either way, a shocking way to die and horrendous for the extended family - there is no pain like that of children who's lives were so horrendously taken.

As John said, the Homicide police aare investigating, which suggests it may not have just been an accidental, careless gas leak.......time will tell

These were 2 of our 11 grandchildren and their father.
We are absolutely gutted, our hearts are broken.
We can only hope that their mother (our daughter), can get through this.
It was not faulty gas bottles or fittings.

Thank you for your support.
Our daughter is just coming to grips with the knowledge that her children are gone.
It was a tragedy that he took the kids with him. We will never forgive him.
Life goes on and we are helping our girl get through this.
It is still so very surreal.

How dare you PeterD. The recent comment was made by the parents of the children's mother, giving an update to the rest of this concerned community.

The only comment after that is Jules passing on her best wishes to a very sad mum who lost her children.

To all those of you for your thoughts and support, we thank you.
If you are passing through Mt Isa, and happen to visit the lookout, the council have dedicated a small area and seat for a memorial to the kids.
Their mother was born in Mt Isa, .

Their great grandmother is a Mt Isa resident for over 50 years and her husband built the Pamela St squash courts in the 70s,.
The Verona restaurant was owned by their great great grandfather many years ago.

Their Mum has moved to another town.

We will be close to her on the 28th of July.

Now PeterD, for your information.
These children, 2 of our grandchildren, were murdered by their father (murder/suicide).
This may be stretching it PeterD (11 months).
But I don't care what you think.

Leevin,

I will visit Mr Isa one day and call in and remember 2 beautiful children who left this world to early. Prayers for your daughter and all who will always suffer from their loss. As for the guy with his comments, he should have no place in the memories about these children.
