In the very early hours?

Just been looking at that funny little cartoon from RockyLizard,

so what do others do when they can't sleep and are wide awake in the very early hours of the morning?

I often find it a great time to cook, keep reading the story that I found hard to put down last night, writing lists of what's on my mind, research for more trips!

Can't handle a cup of tea at that hour though, it has to be milo or similar!

cheers   Capricorn

"Milo or similar"  confuse  Sure!  smile

Must remember to be at your place in the "early hours" of the morning next time. I could taste test to make sure all is good for Pisces and you smile

Now as you know I am not one to go    image.jpg     so I can't ask if all is well down there or are you somewhere warmer? I didn't ask that either disbeliefno

Well Capricorn, you pose a somewhat delicate question, some thought is required to answer such a ticklish query. So, how much information is too much information and do you blush easily? Perhaps it would be best if I sent you a private message. Please be aware that I'm writing this with my tongue firmly in my cheek.

Safe travels,

Annie

Nice cup of hot milky milo and go on the forums to see who else is not sleeping. Usually some where between 2.00am and 4.00am for me. Got a new memory foam matteress so not up every night now.

Same here, also lying awake in the darkness, the "black dog" wants to go for a walk. I get up to jag the brain into going in another direction. I look at this forum, play a computer game, a bit of writing and have a cup of tea. Funny how its always about the same time 2:30-3:30 am.

I always wake up around that same time - usually for a leak, regardless of how much I have or havn't drank before bed.

And its not just the more"senior" folk that do this!! Been waking up at 03.00-03.30 for years now & im still a young'un at 52
Nudge the wife & ask "how about it" standard reply is "how about bloody what" then head to the kitchen for a cuppa & log on to see what's happening in the world.

Mind wont turn off at that hour so sleep is out of the question, sometimes pop over to the granny flat next door as the really senior ones are usually sitting at the table having a chat, some very abstract conversations had at that hour, old stories we have all heard before but always listen to again.

So very quiet and peaceful at that hour, go outside if its not to cold & feed the possums & bandicoots.

Hmm... So I'm not alone, I usually have a few more whiskeys (I make my own) but since April when I started to learn to play a

Ukulele I now practise a few new chords with a couple of whiskeys.  (Hic)

Regular wake up time around 0200 to 0300 and it's a great time to go online and see what friends on the forum have got to say, or do some research for the next trip out into the big playground.
