Thought I'd have a few days at the show grounds, very disappointed, price has gone up, $30 per site, no discount for solo or pensioners, won't stay planned 3 days.,
This place is very expensive., $100. for a locksmith to call out plus parts. Why???? I understand they have to make a living, but its a bit over the top for half hour job....I'm moving on, to the open road, back to free camping for me -Fran

Yeah, gotta agree with that, I was there 2 months ago & I opted for the showground cause the Caravan Parks were about $35, cant remember what I paid but the bloody Army turned up, about 100 of them so I didn't get a shower that night, only 2 showers in the mens & I wasn't lining up so went back to my van a bit dissapointed, should have went to the CVP, anyway it was 0° that night, I also spent too much at Bunnings next morning.
Fran If it make you feel better I paid $110 call out for locksmith in Southeast Queensland and I do think some Show grounds are charging to much compare to caravan parks for what they are offering
