Mount Bundy Station NT

Hi all I am still at Mt Bundy Station after enjoying a great weekend with family and friends for the Adelaide River Music Muster. Beccy Cole is such an entertainer!  Will head off back to Darwin again for a few days before heading back to Queensland.  Will definitely be taking it slowly so I don't get too far south before it warms up a bit.  Cheers Colleen

We've had a few minus -1 here in Sapphire Colleen although the afternoons are glorious. Would want to be staying up higher than here for sure.

Hi Marj, I thought I was frozen when it got down to 12 degrees here over the weekend but the days are glorious that's for sure. Cheers

Mt Bundy Station is a great stopping place - another one we liked was Pussycat Flats at Pine Creek - met Bryan Brown (actor) there.

Hi Jules, was thinking about Pussy Cats Flats, thanks for the recommendation. Where are you these days?

At Pussycat flats, you camp on the racetrack, there is a beer garden, which opens at 4pm, and serves great meals, really enjoyed the place.

We are just leaving Brisbane, spent about three months at Wuruma Dam, then have had about a month seeing family and friends here, now at last, we are heading off, going to WA for the meet up in October.

Where are you heading next?

At Pussy Flats just a short walk & you may be lucky enough to see a hooded parrot (bluey green with a black head) - an endangered species. The nest in ant hills.
