If you live in an area southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany you should continue to take action and stay safe with bad weather to come.
This includes people in Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton, Bridgetown, Margaret River, Albany and surrounding areas.
This weather is not unusual for this time of year, but could damage homes and make travel dangerous.
WEATHER DETAILS: As at 4.45am on 19 July 2015 the Bureau of Meteorology advises an approaching low pressure system and cold front will produce areas of heavy rainfall southwest of a line from Bunbury to Walpole from about 6am Sunday morning, extending to remaining parts of the warning area during Sunday afternoon. The period of heaviest rain is expected to be from Sunday afternoon through to early Monday morning and may cause flash flooding. A Flood Watch has also been issued for the Southwest District, for further details please refer to www.bom.gov.au/wa/warnings
Take care out there People

Well the wind didn't come up as forecast but over 24 hrs we had an inch of rain most of it overnight. Our visitors had their awning out about halfway and fairly low over their door. They said they only felt one little bit of wind that shook their van but it only lasted seconds and that was it. Their awning was ok. we did point out which direction the weather comes from when they arrived so they were parked with the side of the van taking the brunt of any wind and rain. Sun is now out and the washing is drying so all is good up here.
Mighty glad that all is well in your part of the world Sufil,
I don't think we had anywhere near that much rain down here in the outer Suburbs of Perth,
I did hear a little bit in the wee hours but only for a short time.
Didn't hear a whisper from the wind, must have faded out before reaching us, and yes, that "You beaut" Sun is shining here as well, that makes me well better, could live for another 100 years, as long as the weather behaves it's self.

G'day Phil C, If you lived in Bullsbrook 40 Years ago, you will get a real shock at the changes taken place there over recent years,
The RAAF have sold off or demolished more than half the Staff houses opposite the air base now, in fact if one drives past the Base these days, you are lucky to see any sign of life at all, the original gates are still there but, they have been closed for some years now, there is a new entrance a few hundred metres further South towards Perth, I couldn't even tell you if that is Guarded or not.
The only time the Base comes to life these days, is when they hold an Air Show there, and that's only once a year with most of the Aircraft being flown in for the day.
My Brother-in-law was stationed there a few years ago, he invited me in for a drink at the Officers Club there one time,
I recall just walking straight in with no challenge what-so-ever, that duty free, or tax free beer sure went down a treat on a hot day.
