Welcome to the gang Kevin, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Maybe one of the "off road" camper trailers would suit you Kevin?

Gday...

Before I retired and hit the road full-time and bought my van, this is what I used to have.

This followed me anywhere that Hilux (and the LandCruiser 100 that I had next) could go by itself.

Extremely simple to put up and away by myself.

[edit: sorry, it is a Cub Offroad Drover camper]

Hi John

Thanks for the photos. just out of interest. what are the costs of such a rig. might seem a daft question. but what sort of budjet would i need per year. assuming i never worked on route. hope you dont mind me asking.

thanks

Kevin

My vote would also be for the CUB camper trailer, had one myself many years back, very simple to set up, unlike many camper trailers.
Cheers

Gday...

The one I had was a Drover Supermatic Off-road with all their bells and whistles - it was their top model back then.

From memory it cot me $26,000 or thereabouts. Prices have obviously varied (read increased cry) since then ... and their range has also increased. You would probably need to contact CUB.

cheers - John
