Family....

Here I am working on the van HWS when my phone rings. It is our son in law Blake who with his wife and bub and my wife are in Tassie on a school trip. His sister just rang him and they are stuck with a car that won't start after supermarket shopping!!!! Blake asked if I had jumper leads and I said yes, and to tell his sisters that I will be there shortly. Lock up the van and tools, double check the jumper leads are in the Pajero along with a couple of shifting spanners, pliers, and a hammer in case the battery terminals were loose!!!!

I get there and found them in the car park. They said it does nothing. So before I get the jumper leads out I said well give it a try and I will see what it does. She hits the starter and it fires up straight away!!!! I said maybe one of the micro switches in Park did not engauge. She said that has happened before and she had tried that... Only lost 45mins of working on the van, did not have to get dirty AND scored a few family "brownie" points.

Aussie Paul. smile
