Hi everyone,

Long time watcher but first time a member. The better half & I are retired, live in Tassie & share our time between home + 30 acres, Mercedes Sprinter Campervan & yacht. We have ventured overseas to mainland Ausie  3 times so far during winter with last year as far as Cooktown. This year we decided to have a winter at home & we have already decided we will not make the same mistake next winter & head for warmer  weather for our usual 3months away.

Thanks to all those who share their thoughts, expertise & advice etc. & hope we meet some fellow travellers on the road  in the future.

Regards,

David.

Welcome to the gang David and your "Better Half", enjoy here and out in the playground.

I haven't braved a southern winter now for 4 years. It's much better here in the Tropics (Townsville). I usually prop here for about 3 months minimum then head away from the humidity until next time.

Must say, you do live in a nice State though.

Keep Safe out there.
