Cleaning the Van

Just cleaned the van. I used a long ladder to climb up on top of the van and then placed a couple of 1m X 1 m pieces of plywood on roof for me to stand on. Spread the weight evenly and no issues re weight. Used a bucket and mop detergent  and did a good job.

I sure would like to be able to get that wet look all over the van.

Any clues?????

I always use a bit of kero in the water, stops oxidation.

Kero in the water is an old used car dealer trick to get a temporary gloss back on faded duco, so is spraying the engine with WD40 to make it all shiny. Drop tyre pressure by 5psi to make it ride softer too.
Parramatta Road used to be the longest used car yard in the world.
