yep its funny that but I must say it seems that there is a generation of poorly educated people coming out of our education system and I only believe from my experiences that it seems to be getting worse just look at how gen X and Y text. The problem lies in the people they are taught by it seems they cannot spell either

I knew a builder some 30 years back. If someone applied for a job with him, he handed them some timber & told them to build a "sore" horse. This was how he judged their skills, time to make it & quality of finished job.

No professionally prepared resumes in those days, workers were judged by their skills & experience.

 Way back that was the usual recruitment method. It also provided the new recruit with some of his equipment. If you wanted to become a carpenter the first thing you learnt to do was to make quality horses.

Whilst we are on about spelling we can start in this thread. There is common confusion with there and their very early in the thread.

that shows we are a multicultural country, not everyone is good in spelling
for a lot of people English is their second language
