I hate putting my dogs in kennels, but needed some space and time to do stuff. Totally recommend this place near Maclean. Had to fill out a form on line and provide vaccine papers. Was $16 per day per big dog, but they got fed and when I went to pick them up they were outside in a big grassy area soaking up the rays and content as. Over night stays are only $18pn (cheap after Melbourne)
My Labrador was totally chilled out, and that's saying something when she suffers separation anxiety.
Good for you putting this on here. Very nice to know there are some great boarding kennels out there. Owned one for 7 years and our customers were very happy with it. The people who now own it, wouldn't put my dog out there. Advice to everyone, if the kennel owner won't let you explore the whole kennel don't leave your dog or cat.
Hey Triple333 we are not far behind you we are at Graft and Corruption, better known as Grafton we are staying at Glenwood C/P just overnight before we head to Byron and got charged $3 for having our dog ???anyway our choice I suppose good to see there are some good kennels about as like you said sometimes you have to leave your fur babys from time to time.
More of these recommendations need to be put on here for different states.. So helpful if we find we need to use one for a while to get other things done or even go into a NP for a few days.
If they are put in Travelling with Pets, will make it easy to find.
Hi All,
Margo's Boarding Kennels, Murray Valley Highway situated approximately 15 klm west of Hume Freeway passed the Logic Centre. Yarrawonga exit. Beautifully kept kennels with floor heating. So spotlessly clean you could eat off the floor. Depending on the breed, costs from about $20 per day. Vaccination documentation necessary. By the way, kennel cough immunisation is only good for about 6 months. Our vet told us it does not prevent kennel cough entirely, just lessens the severity. We know, it happened to our pupps.
Cheers,
Robyn
