Hi Vic,
Have a look at this unit. Fits in the same place as your Suburban SW6DE.

I have the hot water service as the one in Larry's link. They are good BUT seem to be better on mains pressure than through the pump in the van. They take about 2-3lts to start getting hot. Took a bit of getting used to.

Here in tropical Townsville, Queensland as a southerner I don't even need hot water, a cold shower is great first thing in the morning. I have been here 5 weeks now and forget what a hot shower is.

Hey Chief,
You are the first person I have come across that uses that unit. I am glad you are happy with it.

Be careful about buying the type of Hot Water System that Crusing Cruse shows in his link,

I bought one last week, off "Evil Bay" after seeing one advertise with a picture of one attached to a caravan,

After it arrived I unpacked it and found a small sticker attached to the side stating " NOT COMPLIANT FOR CARAVANS "

When I went to return it, I found, YES the Seller would give a refund IF I payed for the return post and after they took 15% off for handling expenses, this meant I would loose around $60 -$70 !!!

I did the only other thing possible to get as much back as possible, that was flog it off on GUMTREE.

Luckily it sold straight away, and with only a loss of $ 19.00 to me.

So be warned,  make sure before you buy that the appliance has AUST compliance for use with a caravan.

K.J.
