hi Jim

GME have the next best thing .  a unit with hand mic and a button to mount on steering wheel thumb operated,  also a remote mic to mount on pillar close by, so no need to take hands off wheel have one and works great.

Is this comment really necessary? It's OK to be a bit lighthearted from time to time. Probably says more about the person making the comment than the intended target.
