Good afternoon,

I am a Channel 7 news reporter in Sydney, and am working on a story based on new figures from Bankwest.

The report found a 6.6% rise in business ownership among those aged 65 or older. It's the highest growth among all age groups.

Tomorrow, we would love to interview someone in or near Sydney within that age group who has started his or her own business in their retirement.

Hi Angie
I am not in Sydney nor of that age group but the way our governments treat our mature age people is nothing short of disgusting. No business wants to employ over 50 yo people so maybe as the stat show the only way to survive maybe to start a business, maybe for the first time in their life

We the Retirees or pensioners or grey nomads, have sufficient numbers to elect or bring down any government that fail to support us.
It is good to see my age bracket being able to reinvent themselves.
