Yep my good friends and fellow forumite "Dazren" and his lovely wife Renata have blessed Townsville with there presents.
I had arranged for the Mayor to roll out the red carpet and arranged the welcoming committee but the wind must have blown away the red carpet and the 4mt croc I arranged as the welcoming committee took a wrong turn and arrived at the Strand AFTER we left this afternoon, silly bugga. I can't even rely on a crocodile to get it right. Yep, a 4mt croc visited the strand today, nothing out of the ordinary really.
No problem as I had a great day chatting and a great meal together. Thankyou Daryl and Renata.

Well.well.well.what can I say to that.except thank you Doug! Renata and I really had a most enjoyable day.and I have told the Mayor.of your Touring Guide Exploits.and how well versed and experienced you are at showing Visitors around this Fabulous city.and she has assured me that you will be well rewarded. But she did not mention.How, :What ,: or When.!!! The sights you showed us today were wide and varied.and with our short 3 day stay here.we would of missed out on heaps.so thank you.!! And you favourite little Pub.! Certainly gets my Tick of approval.great View. Great food.and great prices.together with great company.!! What more could anyone want.!! Sorry about upsetting that Crocodile welcoming committee.you had arranged to eat. ( Oops ) Meet me.!! The Croc.! Did have me cornered.?? And I thought I was a Goner.!! The Croc asked me WHAT DO YOU TASTE LIKE !!.-- I replied " Wombat " on hearing this your Crocodile Just Vomited and Swam Off ??Seriously Doug.
