I'm at Fletcher Creek at the moment, it is as dry as the pub with no beer. The nomad next to me says it has been like this for two years. Not having been here before I have no idea what it is usually like.
The interesting observation I have made tonight is what is roosting in the tree right in front of me, yes, Chooks, hen, fowls or what ever name you call them. The same nomad said they were not here last year.
Thinking of spending a few nights up at Fletchers shortly so I guess I won't need bait for the yabbie traps. Unless I bait them with a bit of cracked corn and eat roast chook instead of fresh water spiders. Might even set a snare or two and partake of some of that lovely venison which roams the area. Make a change from roo tail stew.
