Four and a half years in WA, heading home

Had 4.5 years inn WA now and its time to head to tassie for a few years. Have basicly had 12 months in Albany, Two years in Broome and 12 months in Perth. Had some great times and good memories also, met some great people in that time and made some lifelong friends. Seen a lot of wa by having stayed in one place and touring from there and mixing with the locals, all those secret little spots you dont find out about unless shown by the locals. Regrets, non as it all happens for a reason.

Leaving Perth on monday

cheers

Have a safe trip blaze, it was a pleasure having you as a temporary Sandgroper and a pleasure meeting you both during your stay in WA smile

Hi Rob. As a Westie, its nice to hear you enjoyed WA enough (or you had well paying work lol) to stay so long.

Boy, even though you spent time in cold old Albany, you will freeze when you return home. You will have to spend time adjusting to the cold by some time in Melbourne lol.

We're staying at Akoonah Civic Centre in Berwick. Only 18 van sites and nice bunch of people. When its not showing (well, it feels that cold to us warmies from WA) theres a fire and drinkies and only #126 a week. Bonus is a HUGE market here every Sunday. Could live hers is not so bloody cold !!

I have been to every state and tertory in Australia, been through or across 5 of aust major deserts, been up the west coast as far as kunanarra, up the the east to just above Gladstone, and crisscrosedd across the middle and seen some truely magic places but Tassie is the best place of all. The cold will take some readjusting to but I have thermals for any thing under 30 degrees
cheers
