Daley River

just spent 2 weeks at Jenny and Lee's bushcamp on the Daley River and the hosts go out off there way to make you welcome .We had a roast of wild buffalo and pig done in the campfire provided one night put on by the hosts and what a feed it was ,our friends had some fireworks so that finnished off a great night. The sites are big and grassy with power, toilets, showers  and water, but the drinking water is from rain water tanks . You can leave your tinnie tied up to the pontoon so no going in and out at the boat ramp,we caught 7 keeper barra and lots of smaller ones .Price per night is $29 dallars well worth the money as the other parks were over $44 per night .Needless to say we will be going back at some stage . A wealth of information is freely given on catching barra from Lee. O by the way there were a few big snappers that were interested in having a look at us but hell thats part of being in the NT.

G'day all. Please do not take this as a criticism as it is only meant to be a warning. anyone wishing to fish the Daly River (or anywhere else in the NT for that matter) should make sure they are up to date with the NEW fishing controls now if force. They are quite different in catch and size limits now. Please be aware of them as you could loose anything used in taking them. As I said this is for your information, use it as you will
Cheers.
