Hi Migra. Tried to open the swift appliance link you have posted, but wouldn't work, so I sent them an email last night.

Thr response was good. It has nothing to do with the Swift product, but once again we have manufacturers not doing a professional job - in this case, not fitting them into an adequately secure and strong base as recommended by Swift.

I asked if my brand was ok - Supreme - the answer was yes - Supreme install the cookers, stoves and grilles correctly.

Swift have spoken to all the manufacturers who use their product and asked them to contact customers through the Dealer network - lets see how many people get notified !

Suggest you go on to Swifts web page and email them with the details of your van and they will tell you if you might have a problem or not. Swift point out that the manufacturer is required to rectify the problem at no cost to you

Had me worried--until I went to the link and discovered it was for an appliance maker called Swift, Not the caravans made by Swift, a different company.

Thanks for the tip Migra
I contacted swift about my condor and said he was not sure, then explained what the problem was, so while he was on the phone went to my van and had a look
The cooker is fully supported and all ok
Told him I had installed a gas detector and put in the van, and he told me to put it in the drawer under the cooker as by the time my alarm sounded where I had installed it, the van would be half full of gas and explosive.
He is sending me another alarm to wire in under the stove, good service and advice
If you have a swift cooker please check it
Ken
