Telaphone Antenna

Thinking of attaching a telephone antenna to my windup Winegaurd Sensar TV antenna  on the roof of the motorhome.

Has anybody done this?

-will it cause a problem with the TV reception or telephone reception.?

not an expert on telecoms and no doubt some expert of this topic will disagree, but given that the air is full of radio signals - broadcast radio, TV, telecoms just to name a few, cant see a problem - just so long as you don't ground/earth one aerial into another. Are you able to temporarily attach the phone stick to your TV antenna - if youre thinking of strapping the phone stick against the antenna - then you may have problems with signal interference

This is how I fixed my telephone aerial,I know it is not a windguard but it may help on the mounting of it.

coincidentally, just noticed a 'van in the CP we are at. They have the standard booster type wineguard tv antenna and they have a whip type telephone antenna attached to the very top of it

Hi Guys

How does the phone work with these antennas, are they plugin as in a cradle ( like the first series of car cradles) or do you have Bluetooth connection. Can some one post some photos of what they look like mounted inside your RVs.

Many thanks

Peter

Our technician mounted the phone aerial with a lead into the van to which I connect a patch lead to that & the phone. He put the lead through the same hole as the tv antenna so no leaks.

Nothing new I guess, but I have now attached a telephone antenna to the wind up Winegaurd Sensar TV antenna
