I am using a Resmed c pap machine with full face mask , i am needing to replace the straps ,and from my supplier the price is horrendous ,just wondered if any one had found a cheaper source on the Internet for parts
I have bought complete CPAP masks and parts off the internet from the USA , can't remember where but I found a few places by just doing a search be careful with postage prices , some are very expensive.
I have just received a Resmed quattro full face mask and straps for $135 au delivered,$295 in Aus,go figure. If your straps are stretched you will soon need a seal, generally cheaper to buy a complete unit as seals are supposed to be replaced every 3 = 4 months.Try evil bay ,search in CPAP,I buy from seller fredandfre95or google 1800CPAP,they have most brands ,machines, complete masks and parts, prices very good compared to Aus.I have bought from both of these suppliers and am a happy customer,it takes two to three weeks for delivery..........cheers happy sleeping....Peter

Wondering, is you machine able to be used with battery power. My hubby has Capp machine and we never take it camping because of no power. We have battery's and solar?
If you CPAP is a resmed you can use them on battery power. The best way is to buy their battery power converter that converts the 12 volts to the required voltage depending on the model of CPAP.As for Fisher Paykel and other brands maybe some other members can help.............cheers Peter

My wife uses a Resmed CPAP when we are in the van. We just use a 150w inverter, very easy on the battery. Just need a 12v socket inside your van. Been doing it this way for a few years without any problems and always a good nights sleep for all concerned. Feel to PM me if you require any further details.

I have a Philips Respironics with humidifier that I can run from inverter or 12 volts.
I buy cpap bits from the US as the Australian pricing is WAY WAY over the top. I have a US address with comGateway as some manufacturers will not send outside the US. I can have packages
from several suppliers delivered to comGateway with free 30 day storage. They pack it all together and send it to me.

My cpap nose mask became faulty 1st night out on hols. No Resmed out west. Bought a replacement of another brand in Roma, Qld. $285.00. Should have waited.
Whilst on hols, received a txt from Resmed if I would be interested in trialing a new mask. I said ok. They will be lucky to get it back when I get it.
Replacement rubber section only from Resmed when home, $95.00. Still waiting for availability.
The navigator has a Resmed CPAP machine. Run it off the batteries using a Resmed 90w DC converter/Inverter. Model Number R360 792
DC INPUT12/24 13/6.5 AMP OUTPUT +24V 3.75 AMP. This saves using an 240V inverter and it works well.
Sweet dreams.
Cheers.
