Font size on forum posts.

I used to be able to read these posts quite clearly. The font was a decent size. Now it is so small I can hardly see it. Having the same trouble on Facebook.

Laptop is an Acer. Have been into the background for font size and changed it to 150% but only toolbars etc have gone big. Anybody know what else I can do?

Marj. You've got to accept that even though youre a young chick, you may need to get some new glasses. I actually use those $12 (aprox) ones that you can buy from K Mart or Big W and a lot of chemists sell them as well. Just get a 2+ or 3+ for use when using your screens - shouldn't give you a headache and problem easily solved ))

Haha, but that's not the problem. The fonts are really too small to read. I just noticed it on my blog too. I'm wearing glasses anyway, have multi focals.
I can't see the names of anyone online at all, they are tiny.

Hi Marj.  Have you tried holding the CTRL button down and hitting the + button till you get the right size ?  Works for Pics. too.   To bring this type up to this size, [ I'd started typing with the normal size] I just selected the relevant words, clicked on the Font Arrow, [Top left-hand corner of this [the Reply box] box, and clicked on 4.  You'll see what I mean when you try it.

How's the BP ?

Cheers,

Sheba.

Hi, I constantly have to change font size depending on web page and which glasses I have on.

Hold the CTL key in the bottom left hand position of your keyboard while scrolling. This changes font size and usually adjusts the column to still fit on the screen. Hope that helps

Idris

EDIT: Ha!, just seen that Sheba posted the same response while I was writing.

Thanks girls, that's done the trick. Knew there was a way. Next time I will just ring Sheba, who seems to have all the answers.

Oh yes, you were shouting Brickies.

A variation on the "Control +" & "Control -"  function --

When using a mouse, I find it more convenient to use "control & the mouse wheel"  in either direction to enlarge or reduce picture size.
